OUR STORY
Pingouin has a long history in Morocco. For 72 years, it has been delighting young and old alike. Some of its ice creams, such as the Polo® or the Titan®, have become iconic for generations of Moroccans.
Created in 1951, originally to meet the demand of the American military in Morocco, Pingouin then became the property of the Centrale laitière. In 2005, it was bought by the family holding ‘Mobigen’, which includes now Henry’s, a biscuit manufacturer, Pingouin, an ice cream manufacturer, and Paty’s, specializing in frozen foods.
Today the leader of the Moroccan ice cream market, with a market share of approximately 30%, the brand is innovative and releases several new products every year. As it offers a diversified range of ice-creams from entry-level to premium and also distributes leading international brands, Pingouin is popular and anchored in the hearts of Moroccans.
